SONIC Drive-In has been adding some mouth-watering items to their restaurant menu. I was lucky enough to try some of these menu items compliments of SONIC who provided a gift card. If you haven’t been to SONIC in awhile, let me tell you about these delicious items!
NEW OFFERINGS AT SONIC: Four Spicy menu items, including the Classic Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Island Fire™ Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Island Fire™ SuperSONIC® Cheeseburger and Southwest Chipotle Breakfast Burrito. One new Super Crunch Chicken Strips, a flavorful crunch for a limited time.
The spicy items were added to the menu from the growing demand of the SONIC guests who enjoy a little kick in their food. I can understand that, seeing as my hubby is a big spicy food lover. It came as no surprise that he ordered from the spicy menu items right away! He got the Island Fire™ SuperSONIC® Cheeseburger and jalapeño poppers, and demolished them in no-time! He loved the heat on it and is excited to try some of the other SONIC options soon – there is a spicy item for all meals of the day!
As for me, I always get enticed by a good deal, and I loved the deal on another one of their newest menu items – Super Crunch Chicken Strips meal! For only $5.49 I got to try the all white-meat, double breaded, juicy chicken strips with tater tot side. The chicken strips were full of crunch and went perfect dipped in the SONIC honey mustard sauce (you could also choose Buttermilk Ranch or Hickory BBQ sauce) and the tater tots came with a few bonus onion rings and toast. The meal was crunchy, juicy and flavorful. I would absolutely order the new SONIC Super Crunch Chicken Strips again!
