There is a lively new toy from the POPPIN’ PARK collection called the ELEFUN Busy Ball Popper – and it is loads of play ball FUN!

If you have opened any toy store ad in the last month, I’m sure you’ve seen it… it’s a very hot item this fall/winter. From the makers of Playskool, the POPPIN PARK collection features animals (hippos, elephants, monkeys and more) who engage in ball poppin’ action with the little ones.

The newest addition, the ELEFUN comes in both blue and pink elephants and is unlimited amounts of entertainment (as long as the 4 “D” batteries don’t run out!) Just make sure to have some extras on hand!) With easy push button activation, your 9 month old + will have a great time playing and listening to the 10 poppin’ droppin’ tunes!

This toy is popular because it is very lively! The ELEFUN uses simple cause and effect. Put the ball in the right or left ear and the ball either cycles through again by dropping it in the belly or pops out the trunk! When it pops out of the trunk the baby “chases” after it, so it encourages crawling!

The ELEFUN comes with 5 colorful balls, conveniently interchangeable between other POPPIN PARK play sets. The air-powered trunk controls the poppin’ direction, which can rotate 360 degrees, so mom can control which way the trunk will pop!

Children 9 months and older have the potential to learn many skills from this toy. Not only does it help teach hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as the baby grasps and drops the pop ball, it also teaches cause and effect, as the baby learns that dropping a ball in will make another pop out! He/she will begin to understand object permanence and gain sensory stimulation, as the baby interacts with and responds to the colorful balls and lively music.
