I am the type of person that thinks there is a reasonable price for everything. I think there is a reasonable price to pay for food, clothes and even cars. And when is comes to cosmetics, I like to pay around $5-$10, because, well, I think that is reasonable! Especially since makeup is supposed to changed out quite often (like every 3 months for mascara!)
Hard Candy cosmetics don’t have a single item that is over $10, therefore they are included in my reasonable makeup budget! Hard Candy products range from face, nails, eyes, lips and body. I tested out 2 of these affordable Hard Candy items: The Lip Stain & Breath Freshening Gloss and The Ginormous Lash Volumizing Mascara (fun names right?)
Lip Tattoo – Lip Stain & Breath Freshening Gloss

Review: I was sent the sangria color, which was a little too much for me. I felt like it belonged better on a teenager. In fact, it is probably the color that I wore when I was a teenager! But I did like the breath freshening gloss (clear)! Luckily, they have a number of different colors, so I could go back and find one that would fit me more appropriately (maybe champion or posy).
Ginormous Lash – Volumizing Mascara
Description: Fatten your flutter with this lash plumping formula. The larger brush, with slightly tapered edges reaches from root to tip for truly bat-worthy volume and glamour. From Carbon Black to Electric Blue.
Review: Fortunately, the carbon black volumizing mascara was the right color for me. I love the thick brush – it does take long at all to do my lashes! This mascara is definitely just like its fitting name – volumizing! It would go perfect with any one of their smashing eye shadow duos!
Buy Your Own!! They are exclusively sold at Wal-mart, both in-store and online. A cosmetic kits would make a perfect Christmas gift. Or you can buy individual items for some substantial stocking stuffers items!
My Overall opinion: The entire collection is very affordable, fun & fabulous, and best of all everything in the collection is under $10.00!
