Otterbox is a company with products that can be trusted. It is a company that has earned its good reputation from the fact that they have well-made products and fantastic customer service. They have won over my family, as well as much of the public, for all the right reasons. Oh, and they are based in Colorado!
I have been a fan of Otterbox since I was first introduced to their Smart Phones cases in 2008. Although I wasn’t hip enough to have a Smart Phone then (finally got one in 2010) my husband swore by them. My husband has had nothing but Otterbox cases for his numerous Smart Phones and has been 100% satisfied.
Now it was my turn. Since I recently got a new phone for Christmas, the Samsung S3, I wanted to make sure I had a case I could trust too. I got the chance to test out the Samsung Galaxy S3 Prefix Series by Otterbox. This series is available in a few color options including Spark (Lake Blue/Glow Green), Carbon (Black/Slate Grey) and Burst (Violet Purple/Pop Purple). Purple being my favorite color EVER, I had to choose this case.
The case was shipped quickly from Otterbox and arrived right to my doorstep ready for testing. I opened up the sturdy box and found a stunning purplish-pink case inside. This case was gorgeous at first sight, but once I had it in my hands I realized its true purpose of protecting my phone. I could tell that the case was durable and that case would protect my phone from all kinds of thumps and thuds!
The case is made of silicone, which is an ideal material for support from impact that the phone may face. The Prefix has a unibody and internal skeleton for added support. The $24.95 gets you this sleek and sturdy case as well as a nice screen protector. I love that is comes with this screen protector, which prevents scratches and marks.
The case is a great option for my phone. I was happy with the quality, the look and the ease of taking the Prefix on and off of my Samsung Galaxy S3.
