Cherry Creek is a cute little area of Denver metro with boutique shops and hip eateries. It is always fun to browse the art, home decor and fashion stores in this happening area. Well, Cherry Creek North just opened a fabulous new store in June, HMK, which is a concept from Hallmark.
I got a chance to check out the adorable new shop and see what HMK was all about! 
First of all, this new concept store is only one of three stores in the USA. And after checking it out in person, I am sure there will be more to come! The three locations are: Kansas City (MO), Southlake, (TX) and now Denver (CO).
Walking into this store was like walking into the cutest, friendliest little home/boutique/craft store. I mean, I was offered a warm snicker doodle cookie minutes after I walked in the door. The staff greeted me with smiles and was eager to help answer all the questions that I had!
The Hallmark HMK store has a lot of personalized gift options. Nearly everything in the store can be customized and made your own. It is perfect for wedding showers, baby births, kid birthdays, Christmas presents, anniversary gifts and more!
A few of the services they provide are printing, embroidering, laser cutting, and engraving.

SILHOUETTES – Portraits
MONOGRAMS and MESSAGES – Customize color and font to many items including: scarfs, pillows, oven mitts, dish towels, blankets, and more!
GIFT WRAPPING – Gorgeous gift wrapping of gift purchased in-store or from elsewhere!
I spotted a number of unique gifts from this store. For instance the store had gorgeous displays of jewelry from designers local to their main operating store in Kansas City. The jewelry displays shared information about the artist and gave insight about the jewelry. I was especially intrigued by the handmade vintage antique jewelry. Ever piece was unique and different. The jewelry designers are so talented!
Next, I couldn’t help but spend a majority of my time in the kitchen area (the store is laid out sort of like a home, there is a living room, kitchen, kid’s room). The kitchen section had artisan spices and chocolates, cloth napkins, kitchen utensils, cutting boards, aprons and table cloths. The colors were bright and the designs were fun. But what was so unique about this store is that you can customize the items with your own personal touch. You can add a favorite quote or your family name, whatever you want for a reasonable price.
I decided to get some cloth napkins that would match my dining room so perfectly. For a set of 4 napkins the customized embroidery was only going to be $8 total for all 4 napkins! I thought that was a decent price, I was expecting much more!
This boutique-style store really had something for everyone, they features home decor, kids and baby gifts, accessories, Hallmark greeting cards and more. Just look at how cute the pet-lovers items are!
This store could be dangerous. I wanted everything!
Overall, I spent a few hours checking out all the the HMK Boutique had to offer and had a great time exploring the items that could be uniquely personalized. If you have a HMK store in your city, you should absolutely check it out.
And for all my local Denver people… the HMK shop in Cherry Creek North (located at 2940 E. 2nd Avenue) is worth exploring. Not to mention, it is the perfect time since the holidays are right around the corner! It might be a good idea to check out some of the HMK products and services now!
