My husband and I have been playing a lot of tennis lately. This Summer we’ve played more tennis than in the past 7 years we’ve been together. (BTW – I always win. HA! But not for much longer, he is getting really good!) My Experience with Famous Footwear
I was in Anchorage, AK on a trip for work and decided to check out the Famous Footwear in downtown Anchorage. The store is in the 5th Street mall, a convenient location from my hotel. So, I had the afternoon to spare and walked to the mall from my hotel, which was just a few blocks away.
The store was on the top floor of the mall, and was bigger than I expected. When I walked into the store, I found a HUGE selection of shoes, socks, backpacks and an awesome clearance section. Shoes on sale from $15 – $50. I love clearance!
Along the walls were the athletic shoes. The women’s section had a wide variety of active footwear which made it easy to get just the right shoe to fit my needs.
My Review of Reebok Footwear
I found a few pairs of Reebok Shoes that sparked my interest while shopping at Famous Footwear. I really loved the fun colors and styles that they had. There were Reebok Shoes for Men, Reebok Shoes for Kids and Reebok Shoes for Women.
After looking through the decent selection of Reebok athletic shoes, I finally settled on the Women’s Zig Kick. They were a perfect combination of stylish and cuteness but also practical for everyday wear. They looked good under jeans too, so they wouldn’t have to be worn just when I play sports.
Reebok Women’s Zig Kick
Comfortable, Stylish and Functional. The size was just right, I am a size 8 and the 8 was true to size. The shoe was not too tight on my ankle or toes, which is sometimes what I find in athletic shoes. If anything, these shoes were on the wide side. 
After purchasing these shoes I decided to extend the walk from the mall to my hotel, to include a walk around the park. I wore the shoes out of the store and headed for Town Square Park.
After my little park adventure, I decided the shoes passed the test. They fit great and I didn’t need to head back to the mall for an exchange. I continued on to my hotel, in my new Reebok kicks, with an added skip in my step.
Beyond walks in the park, these shoes are perfect for playing tennis with my husband. They are light and give me good traction on the court. Now, I can’t say the shoes are the reason, but the last time we played, I did beat him. 🙂
