When it comes to buying our dog food and treats, we typically do so in-store. We head in, go straight to our brand and end up lugging the 30lb bag of dry dog food out to the car.
A few months ago, I found that we could do it online. So I gave it a try. I bought a Groupon for a large (*nameless*) pet company online. But when I shopped with them, I had a horrible experience!
First, the website kept freezing and lost our order multiple times. Then we couldn’t use our Groupon with sale items or get free shipping because of weight!
After paying a crazy amount on shipping a heavy bag of dry dog food… I decided I would never use that pet product site again.
So when Mr. Chewy asked me to do a review of their online pet food store, I hesitated before agreeing. I wanted to make sure I was truly promoting a good website and not misleading (you) my readers!
I headed over to Mr. Chewy to check out the website first, and liked what I saw. I liked the simplicity. I liked that they had the basics. Only items for cats & dogs.
It was simple to navigate. All of the brands that we currently buy were all there and easy to find too.
Shopping at Mr. Chewy was refreshing compared to the other pet website and I found the prices were aligned (if not cheaper) than the pet store.
As I browsed the dog items, I thought it was a really nice way to shop. I got to read the description of the items and the ingredients list. I made more of an educated purchase (important since we prefer to feed our dog treats that are made in the USA and are mainly meat-based proteins). While I made my order, there were no hassles. And guess what? Shipping was FREE!
Weight doesn’t matter! 
One of the greatest things about Mr. Chewy is that you can set up a delivery schedule (send treats or bags of food in a pre-scheduled shipment) and you get free shipping for life! That rocks!

Overall, I found that using Mr. Chewy’s pet store online made it easy to find what I was looking for and more. I love their free shipping over $49 (no weight limit!!) and their delivery service for life deal. I also found they run discount specials on their website every now and again too!
