Are you always looking for something to satisfy your potato chip craving without actually being a potato chip? Well, look no further! Harvest Snaps are a healthy alternative to potato chips – and they give the same satisfaction and crunch – I promise!
I tested Harvest Snaps (which formerly was known and Snapea Crisps) this week… and just like potato chips, I couldn’t put them down! Especially since I knew they were lower in fat and sodium compared to the “other” crunchy snack!
So what exactly are Harvest Snaps?
They are naturally dried peas and dried lentils with a variety of flavor options.
Harvest Snaps are healthy snacks that allow for guilt-free snacking. They are much healthier than potato chips. These naturally dried peas are baked not fried. The pea portion makes up 70% of the product, while Lentil Snaps are made from 65% Lentils and contain 5g of protein and 13% of your daily fiber.
Harvest Snaps have a few varieties. The Snapea Crisps are available in four different varieties: Lightly Salted, Caesar, Black Pepper and Wasabi Ranch. Lentil Snaps’ Tomato Basil and Onion Thyme flavors.
After trying Harvest Snaps, I can tell you that I love the crunch and the fiber! The six flavors I tried were equally delicious and full of flavor! My very favorite were the lightly salted (my husband can tell you I am boring when it comes to flavors!)
These snacks are a good-option snack for all ages. Kids and adults will both like the delicious crunch of Harvest Snaps. You can eat them straight out of the bag – or implement them in a recipe. We put them on top of a salad – super tasty – with a perfect crunch! When I am not eating them out of the bag or on top of a salad, I have them to-go in a plastic baggie. They are great for snacks and lunches!
