I am always trying to find ways to make my life easier and healthier. When I heard about Green Chef meal subscription service = that was BOTH!
Green Chef is one of three meal services that I have tried. It is similar to the other kits in that it is delivered to your door, comes with pre-measured ingredients and recipes ready to make at home. The difference though, is the high quality of the Green Chef Meal Kit ingredients.

What Came in the Meal Kit:
I chose the Paleo kit because my husband and I try to eat this way – clean and low carbohydrate. When the kit arrived at my door, I opened it to find many familiar foods that I would normally cook for myself, and also some new ones too – like parsnip. I had never bought – nor cooked with parsnip!
Everything was packages and labeled by color. There was even homemade sauces and marinades!
Green Chef Meal Kit Recipes:
Chicken Waldorf Salad
The chicken waldorf salad was a crunchy and hearty kale based salad.
BBQ Beef Mini-Loafs
The mini loafs are not like your grandmother’s meat loaf. These are so tender and the homemade barbecue sauce will make your tummy smile. It is so good!
Orange Ginger Salmon
The orange ginger salmon was sweet and gingery. The side dish of red cabbage, cashews and snap peas is my favorite new side dish. I never expected to like these ingredients together. In fact, it was the dish I least looked forward to. But OMG the meal was EVERYTHING!
How I Rate Green Chef Meal Kits:
Meal subscription services are great. I love that they saves me time. I don’t have to shop for the ingredients. I don’t have to measure anything out (or wash all those measuring cups). Basically it is just some chopping and some cooking! I was able to make all the meals in under 45 minutes each night. A lot more pleasant than the 2 hours it usually takes me to make a similar quality meal.
Green Chef meals were high quality and delicious. The ingredients were top notch (love that everything is organic) and the meals were tasty from the first bite to the left overs the next day!
