Obviously I couldn’t get enough of my most recent essential oils (a few weeks ago I got the Basil, Lemon and Bergamont essential oils from Simply Earth) because here I am again, talking more about the goodness of essential oils!
This time I want to give you a brief guide on Lemon Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Penny Royal.
Oil: Lemon Eucalyptus
Aroma: Camphoraceous scent with sweet, citronella notes.
Use: It works great for insect repellents; shown in a study to be effective treating respiratory illnesses; Can be used in a number of recipes for making blends.
Oil: Peppermint
Aroma: Most people have a clear sense of what peppermint smells like – a strong, sharp, penetrating scent based on its high menthol content; a minty sweetness
Use: One of the most useful essential oils available. It has an ability to address multiple ailments, including clearing up your respiratory system.
Oil: Penny Royal
Aroma: Similar to peppermint, but is less minty and oddly sweet and herbaceous
Use: A fragrance for homemade detergent, great insect repellent, stimulates blood circulation, acts as a decongestant.
