My dog Daisy gives me unconditional love day in and day out. She is a sweet, gentle dog that loves to cuddle, lick faces and be near you all the time. She follows me around the house and lays on the floor somewhere in the room that I am in. She is our four-legged family member and is a sincere companion.
That being said, it always breaks my heart a little when I have to bathe her, clip her nails or comb her hair. These are not her favorite activities, unlike playing fetch or going to the dog park.
So this week, when I realized my dog was shedding her winter coat all over the house… I got a little anxious about the upcoming task of brushing her! I waited, and put it off for a few days, but then was finding more and more hairs. Hairs on the couch, on my pant legs and even in my glass of water this morning! Inevitably the time had come. Today was the day to brush her.
Luckily, I had a few bags of tasty dog biscuits from Cesar to reward her. I hoped this would make the hair brushing go a little smoother. And surprisingly it did!
Daisy was so well behaved while I rid her of her excess loose hair! She sat still and was patient while I brushed her, knowing she was getting rewarded for being good. I would brush her for a minute or two and then I would give her a treat. She was excited for these treats so she was calm and happy.

Cesar Cookie Crunchies are savory, flavorful bite-sized treats for dogs. They are the perfect size for rewarding dogs for good behavior. They are like training treats – they aren’t outrageously big so you don’t feel guilty giving your dog a few (recommended no more than 1 treat per 5lbs of dog). My dog is about 35lbs, so I can give her 6-7 treats a day.
She definitely got all 7 today for excellent behavior! She was such a good sport while I brushed her. Clumps of hair were flying, but she was patient and still, knowing she could receive another tasty reward.
Daisy got the chance to taste both the Filet Mignon flavor and the Rotisserie Chicken flavor. She literally jumped for joy for both of these. I honestly couldn’t tell which flavor she liked more! Each are about 9% crude protein and have 10 calories per treat.
The treats are a great size, like I said before. They are bite size – you can hold them in-between your fingers. She ate them in about 3 bites. Each bag comes with 130 mouthwatering pieces. There are 3 different shapes of treats – a heart, a paw print and a dog bone. 
I love giving our dog delicious treats. We treat her for either good behavior as a reward, or just because. I love seeing her get so excited for them, and it is nice showing her love in this way. With the small size of the Cookie Crunchies, I don’t feel bad about treating her multiple times in one day. They are a fun treat to show our dog how much we love her, throughout the day, everyday!
