What is the difference between moms and superheroes?
Not much in my opinion! Moms are the at-home, everyday superheroes that juggle many things. From the dynamics of the family to the cooking and cleaning. Probably doing all with little recognition!
Well for all the husbands, sons and grandsons out there – here is a hint. You can make up for the limited recognition and appreciation you give your mother, grandmother or wife. And you can treat her like a superhero that she is on her one special day – Mother’s Day!
How? Well for starters, I have a Mother’s Day gift suggestion that any mom would enjoy. The Wahl Heat Therapy Massager. It is both thoughtful and useful.
There are quite a few massager selections by Wahl. Each is different depending on her needs. They have a range of massage intensities (from light therapeutic to deep tissue), they have massagers with a range of attachment heads, power sources, heat/no heat, etc. I got to test out one of these Wahl Massagers, and I am excited to tell you about it!
I tested out the Deluxe Heat Therapy Wahl Massager . This bad boy is the cream of the crop! It features two heat settings and a whopping nine attachments! It has a deep tissue, high intensity, powerful force. When I took it out of the box, I got right to it! As advertised and to my surprise, it was a strong unit! I prefer a deep tissue massage, so this massager rocked my world! It was easy to use – just attach the head of your preference and plug in to the wall. You can hold it yourself (depending on how and where, it might be a little cumbersome). Or better yet, you can have your husband (hint hint) work the tight areas in your back, legs, shoulders, etc.

- All nine attachments each have a specific name and use. We tested them all and found they relieved pain in many different ways! Some people might prefer the pin-pointed massage, while others the general vibration of a wider unit. There was a helpful booklet inside that showed a picture of each attachment, its use and official name. This was key in deciding which attachment to use.
The heat therapy was something I had never experienced before. It is a separate attachment head and button. There are a few (obvious) safety guidelines you should follow before using this setting, but after that it is all relaxation!
There are two heat levels to choose from, and both we reasonable heat settings for me (of course it is best to test these before you use.) The heat attachment was a winner – for reliving achy muscle pain. This is definitely an added bonus to just a standard massager.
There was a small booklet that came with the Wahl Heat Therapy and had some massage technique included. The techniques covered areas of the body like shoulders, back, abdomen, joints, face and more. This was a extra special feature that came with this unit, allowing you to customize your massage that much more.
Overall, I never actually knew Wahl Home made other products besides hair clippers… but I am so incredibly happy I know now!
